PhD in architecture from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM, 2004), Professor at the Department of Architectural Projects (1992-), Deputy Director for Teacher Management of the UPM School of Architecture (2018-) and Coordinator of the UPM training innovation project “Strategies for Training Innovation in Architectural Design” (2012-).

Secretary of the Department of Architectural Projects (2004-2008), Deputy Director of the Master in Advanced Architectural Projects (2008-2012), Secretary of the Final Project Commission (2004-2008), Vice-Dean for Phd and Postgraduate Studies of the School of Architecture UPM (2013-2017), Secretary of the UPM PhD Academic Commission (2014-2017) and Deputy Director for Teacher Management (2017-2018) and for Internationalization of the UPM School of Architecture (2018-).

Visiting Scholar at the UC Berkeley College of Environmental Design (2017). Author of numerous architectural writings and works, several of these published and exhibited at the national and international level, and other professional y teaching works along with research activities on dwelling, architecture for health and teaching in architectural projects.

Visiting Professor and lecturer on courses of architecture for health at the Universities of Madrid UPM, Granada, La Coruña, Pompeu Fabra and San Pablo-Ceu, with articles and books on this subject, the main ones are Hospitales, la arquitectura del Insalud, 1986-2000 y La Arquitectura para la Sanidad Pública en España, 1942-1977.
