The journal Textos de Arquitectura, published by the Official College of Architects of Madrid, has opened the call for contributions for its second issue, focused on the theme “Architecture and Inclusion: From Regulatory Frameworks to Shared Space.” This edition seeks to reflect on the role of architecture in the creation of more equitable spaces, where all people—regardless of gender, origin, age, or ability—can fully participate in social and urban life.
The call is addressed to researchers, practitioners, and academics interested in exploring how the discipline can contribute to a more inclusive society, restoring the connection between space, community, and social justice. Research articles (up to 6,000 words) and reviews of recent publications (up to 1,500 words) are welcome, in either Spanish or English, provided they are original works.
Key dates:
30 September: Deadline for submission of full articles and reviews.
15–20 November: Notification of selected proposals.
1 December: Submission of final materials, including bilingual texts, images, and layouts.
15–25 December: Publication of the issue.
