Critic|all VI International Conference on Architectural Design and Criticism

We are pleased to announce the launch of the Critic|all VI International Conference on Architectural Design & Criticism, organized by the Department of Architectural Design of the School of Architecture at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid and the Department of Architecture and Design of Politecnico di Torino, which will take place on January 29 and 30, 2026.

In its sixth edition, the conference focuses on visual research methods, and more specifically on drawing, as a fundamental instrument for the construction of architectural culture and theory, recognizing the potential of every graphic document as a repository of specific knowledge. For this reason, we propose the term grapho-logics as the title of the conference, highlighting the urgency of placing visual and graphic information back at the centre of architectural criticism, whether as a source, a tool, or an outcome of critical research.
