CALL FOR EXTRAORDINARY DOCTORAL THESIS AWARDS 2023–24

The Steering Committee of the International Doctoral School (EID) of the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid has announced the Extraordinary Doctoral Thesis Awards, aimed at doctoral graduates who defended their doctoral thesis during the 2023–24 academic year.

These awards are open to doctoral graduates whose thesis defence took place between 1 October 2023 and 30 September 2024, who obtained the distinction “cum laude”, and who expressly apply for the award. The maximum number of nominations submitted by each School or Centre will be one for every ten theses defended, or fraction thereof.

Applicants must submit their application through the UPM Electronic Headquarters between 1 and 30 September 2025, following the instructions set out in the document “Evaluation Procedure”. The form “Merits Related to the Thesis” must also be completed and attached to the application.
