The Department of Architectural Design announces the following scholarship call:

Scholarship Title: Support for the Department of Architectural Design

Number of Scholarships: 3 (One Type 1 scholarship + Two Type 2 scholarships)

Type 1: Communication
Type 2: Departmental Support
Support for the MPAA

Eligibility: Undergraduate students in the final years of their degree or Master's students.

Responsibilities: Preparation, coordination, editing, dissemination, and support of the teaching activities of the Department of Architectural Design, the Master's Degree in Advanced Architectural Design (MPAA), and/or the Advanced Architectural Design Doctoral Programme.

Gross scholarship amount:

Type 1: €2,500
Type 2: €1,800

Commitment:

Type 1: 15 hours per week
Type 2: 10 hours per week

Start / End Date: March 1, 2025 – July 31, 2025

Reporting to: Department of Architectural Design Management Team

The scholarship holders will work in the Department of Architectural Design Support Office, carrying out tasks including:

  • Management of the Undergraduate, Qualifying Master's Degree in Architecture, MPAA Master's Degree, and Doctoral Programme.
  • Student and faculty assistance, and provision of public information.
  • Support for academic staff in the management of departmental reports and course guides.
  • Coordination and management of departmental activities.
  • Coordination and management of the department's website and related publications.
  • Design and editing of departmental publications.

 

 

 

The Department may conduct personal interviews with candidates shortlisted during the initial selection phase.

The Department of Architectural Design reserves the right not to award the scholarships if the quality of the applications does not meet the required standard.
Requisitos:

Candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Proficiency in English.
  • Experience with administrative procedures.
  • Proficiency in basic computer skills and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite (graphic design, basic video editing, etc.).
  • Website management skills (WordPress is essential) and experience managing social media.

  • Completed application form  accompanying this call.
  • Motivation letter, clearly stating the type of scholarship being applied for (Type 1 or Type 2).
  • Letters of recommendation.
  • CV with a recent photograph of the applicant, together with a portfolio detailing experience relevant to the scope of the scholarship (maximum 10 A4 pages).
  • Official transcript of academic records from the Bachelor's degree and/or Master's degree (this may be downloaded from the Politécnica Virtual student account).
