The Department of Architectural Design announces the following scholarship call.

Scholarship title: Support for the Department of Architectural Design – MPAA.

Eligibility: Undergraduate students in the final years of their degree, Final Degree Project (PFC) students, Master's students, or PhD candidates.

Duties: Preparation, coordination, editing, dissemination, and support of the teaching activities of the Department of Architectural Design within the Advanced Architectural Design Master's Programme (MPAA).

Gross compensation: €1,800

Workload: 30 hours per week.

Start/End dates: October 1, 2024 – December 31, 2024. The Department of Architectural Design (DPA) may extend the scholarship during the following academic year.

Renewal: Yes. The scholarship may be renewed by a reasoned decision of the DPA management.

Reporting line: DPA management team.

The scholarship holder will work in the Department of Architectural Design support office, carrying out tasks including:

• Management of the Bachelor's, Qualifying Master's, MPAA Master's, and PhD programmes.
• Student and faculty support, as well as providing public information.
• Assisting faculty with the management of departmental reports and course guides.
• Admission processes.
• Management of departmental activities.
• Coordination and management of the department's website and related publications.
• Design and editing of departmental publications.

The Department may conduct personal interviews with candidates who are shortlisted during the initial selection phase.

The Department of Architectural Design reserves the right to leave the scholarship unawarded if the quality of the applications does not meet the required standard.

Candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Proficiency in English.
• Experience with administrative procedures.
• Proficiency in basic computer skills and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite (graphic design, basic video editing, etc.).
• Website management skills (WordPress is essential) and social media management.

The following will be considered an advantage:

• A proactive and initiative-driven attitude.
• Fluency in spoken and written English.
• Computer skills in accordance with the requirements listed above.
• Planning and coordination skills.
