Architectural Design Competition for Students // HISPALYT Ceramic Forum

The Hispalyt Ceramic Forum once again launches its annual competition for students and recent graduates.

COMPETITION OBJECTIVE

The aim of this Competition is to reward students and recently qualified architects who demonstrate talent in the design of a project, similar to the academic exercises developed during their studies at Schools of Architecture, based on a specific theme that changes each academic year and in which ceramic materials, such as facing brick, play a significant role.

Theme: Star Observatory at the Los Barruecos Natural Monument with facing brick façades.

Target participants: Architecture students and recently qualified architects from across Spain.

First Prize: €300. Two honourable mentions without financial award.

Project submission deadline: See the deadline for each School at the following link.

– Hispalyt: for non-participating Schools, participating Schools where the prize is declared void (< 6 projects), and architects from participating Schools where registration is not permitted.

Project submission deadline: Monday, 6 July 2026.

National Prize: Winners and honourable mentions from the Local Awards will compete for the National Prize.

First Prize: €3,000. Two honourable mentions: €1,000 each.

Jury decision date: before Friday, 17 July 2026.
