Lazcano López, Jesús
Architect from ETSAM (2009) and holds a Master’s Degree in Advanced Architectural Projects from UPM (2012). During his research, he decided to combine his interest in architecture and cinema to develop his doctoral thesis, "The Barcelona Pavilion and the Red Room. Spaces, Images and Fictions of the Pavilion through Twin Peaks", which was awarded a grade of Sobresaliente cum laude and the International Mention at ETSAM UPM (2017).
Since graduating, in addition to running his own practice, he has collaborated with various architecture firms, developing professional activity across multiple fields, from exhibition design to the construction of buildings and execution projects at different scales. Among his most notable projects are those awarded in EUROPAN14 (Torrelavega, 1st prize 2017), EUROPAN15 (Lasarte-Oria, 2nd prize 2019) and EUROPAN17 (Carabanchel, 2nd prize 2023).
He currently works as an architect and set designer for SERVERS, an American production scheduled for release in 2029. In the academic field, he has taught and lectured at various universities, including the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid and the China Academy of Art.
