Morell Sixto, Alberto

Alberto Morell Sixto (Madrid, 1967) is an Architect (1992) and Associate Professor at the Madrid School of Architecture, Polytechnic University of Madrid (UPM), where he has taught since 2000.

He directs the 14km Teaching Unit (founded in 2010) within the Department of Architectural Design. The unit pursues a line of research focused on the concept of Origins, initiated through work in Africa and developed through the 14km book series.

Within this collaborative academic unit, both Architectural Design Studios and the Architecture and Research Project Office are developed. Current projects include a senior cohousing development in Meruelo, Santander, and a Ritual House in Mallorca.
